During my trip to Mindelo, I had the chance to stay at Basic hotel, and although I only stayed there for transit purposes, I found two features that were particularly beneficial. the hotel's location proved to be incredibly convenient, as it is situated just 10 km from the nearest airport. This proximity made it effortless for me to reach the hotel after a long journey, ensuring a seamless transition to my next destination. the accommodation itself was perfectly suited for a short stay, providing all the necessary amenities and a comfortable environment to relax before continuing my travels.

There was one minor setback that I encountered during my stay at Basic. While the first time I dined at the hotel, the breakfast surpassed my expectations, offering a wide variety of options such as fried eggs, yogurt, and more.

Parking was great, I could park my fancy car without worrying about it getting scratched. The natural park was only 12 km away, perfect for a posh lady like me to go on a glamorous nature walk.

Oh, the nearest airport was only Cesària Evora Airport, who needs an airport with a proper name anyway?
